American Fyre Designs Marseille Designer 40" Fire Bowl – GFRC

Sculptural Form. California Craftsmanship. Fire at the Center of the Experience.

Designed to command attention without overwhelming the surrounding space, the American Fyre Designs Marseille 40" Fire Bowl brings the character of architectural sculpture to the backyard. Its deep, generously proportioned bowl widens elegantly toward the rim and tapers toward the base, creating a distinctive silhouette with fire beautifully centered within the form.

Hand-cast in Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) in California, the Marseille is made to order and available in multiple finishes, allowing you to coordinate the fire feature with the architecture, materials, and overall aesthetic of your outdoor space. A 16-inch stainless steel star burner produces a substantial 65,000 BTU flame, creating a warm visual centerpiece for evenings spent around the pool, patio, or outdoor entertaining area.

Make Fire the Centerpiece

The American Fyre Designs Marseille 40" Fire Bowl brings together sculptural design, hand-cast California craftsmanship, and a substantial stainless steel burner in one distinctive outdoor centerpiece. With multiple finish options, natural gas or propane configurations, and an optional electronic ignition system, it can be tailored to the character and function of a thoughtfully designed outdoor living space.

A sculptural centerpiece by day. A captivating gathering point by night.

• Hand-cast GFRC construction — Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete provides the authentic appearance and tactile character of concrete while allowing American Fyre Designs to create a sophisticated sculptural form.

Why This Product Stands Out

More Than a Fire Pit—It's an Architectural Element

Many outdoor fire features are designed primarily around function. The Marseille takes a different approach, treating the fire bowl itself as part of the landscape design.

Its deep, sculptural profile gives the piece a distinctive architectural identity even when the flame is not lit. Once illuminated, the fire becomes the visual center of the bowl, creating a natural gathering point for the surrounding outdoor environment.

The Character of Hand-Cast GFRC

The Marseille's hand-cast GFRC construction gives it the substantial visual character associated with concrete while allowing for a carefully formed sculptural design. Because each piece is made to order, it feels intentionally selected for a premium outdoor setting rather than simply added as another patio accessory.

Designed for 360-Degree Outdoor Living

The round configuration is particularly effective in open outdoor environments. Instead of directing attention toward a single viewing position, the Marseille presents the flame as a shared centerpiece—ideal for seating arranged around a pool, patio, courtyard, or entertaining area.

A Choice of Fire Experiences

The standard 65,000 BTU configuration delivers a substantial flame experience, while the optional FyreStarter adds a more sophisticated ignition and control system.

The FyreStarter replaces the standard piezo igniter with a 120V electronic ignition system, featuring push-button operation, a built-in flame sensor with automatic reignition if the flame is extinguished by wind, and Bluetooth on/off control. It is particularly well suited to installations where convenient operation and additional ignition functionality are priorities.

Made for the Details That Define a Luxury Outdoor Space

From the hand-cast GFRC construction to the choice of finish, fuel type, burner configuration, and optional electronic ignition, the Marseille allows the fire feature to be considered as part of the overall design—not simply as a standalone source of flame.
